Fun in the Sun

As the weather begins to warm up, residents have been spending their time in the garden. We encourage all of our residents and their families to make use of the garden and enjoy the sun.

New Hair Salon

Heathlands now has its own hairdressing salon which is now up and running, complete with professional hood hair dryer for the residents. JoJo has been busy doing lots of the residents hair - cuts, perms, sets.

Diamonds Are Forever

Congratulations to Dennis and Margaret Howlands on celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The home was decorated in diamonds in honour of the special occasion and we had a party. Margaret brought in her card from the Queen.

Dennis and Margaret have been together since they were 15. When asked what was their secret to a happy marriage, Margaret said: "the secret to being married 60 years is that we love and care for each other and just to give and take."

Heathlands Care Centre achieves 2 star rating

We are delighted to announce that Heathlands Care Centre has achieved a 2 star rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which is the highest rating that can be achieved by a new care home. To view the report please click here.
